The Black Sea Fleet corvette "Mercury" of project 20380 cipher could launch a "Caliber" cruise missile at the Chizha training ground from the White Sea. This was reported by Military Russia.
The corresponding security zones were closed for this period. The Russian Ministry of Defense has not yet made official statements about the "Mercury" exercise with "Calibers".
The basic composition of the armament of corvettes includes - a "Caliber" or "Yakhont" strike anti-ship complex, a 100 mm A-190 artillery gun, two Kashtan-M anti-aircraft missile and gun systems for missile defense, as well as a Ka-27 type deck helicopter.
