ODK Engineering LLC (part of Rostec) has signed a contract for the supply of a GPA-25 gas pumping unit. This was reported by the company's press service.
The 25-megawatt unit is based on the PS-90GP-25 industrial gas turbine engine, which was developed on the basis of the PS-90 aircraft engine. The commissioning of the new unit will increase the total power of ODK equipment at the Chayandinskoye (Yakutia) field to 205 MW.
GPA-25 is a fully Russian gas pumping unit, created on the basis of the PS-90GP-25 industrial gas turbine engine manufactured by ODK-Perm Motors. Modern technical solutions incorporated in the engine design ensure economical operation with maximum performance. The PS-90GP-25 industrial engine is highly efficient and reliable, making it a popular solution for both production facilities and compressor stations of main gas pipelines.
GPA-25 can be made in a block-container or hangar version. Its efficiency is 37.9%, the consumption of fuel gas in the nominal mode is 4,745 kg/h, and the time between overhauls is 25,000 hours, the assigned resource is 100,000 hours. The unit fully complies with the technical and operational requirements of the gas industry and is equipped with a modern remote control system with a high degree of protection.
Earlier www1.ru reported that ODK will produce 5 GPA-16 gas pumping units for gas transportation to the Far East.
