The Russian Ministry of Defense has published footage of a T-72B3M tank operating with a new type of anti-drone visor. Unlike the previous angular "cope cages" welded from metal corners, the new drone protection is assembled on arches.
The protection features a low silhouette and a more streamlined shape, which reduces the tank's visibility.
Judging by the movement of the tank, the arches are flexible. It is unknown whether the new "cope cage" folds.
The T-72B3M is a modernized version of the T-72B3 tank, which received a new sighting system with a digital display, as well as a rear-view television camera. The armor of the combat vehicle is reinforced with side screens with "Relikt" dynamic protection modules.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the first footage of the flight of the latest "Geran-2" at a great height has appeared.
