Ambulances in the Belgorod Region are being equipped with protective grids, known as "mangals." These are intended to protect the vehicles from drone attacks. This was announced by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on his Telegram channel.
We are starting to equip our ambulances following the example of agricultural machinery — with protective "mangals" against drone strikes. We are looking for all possible ways to protect our medics.
In addition, special drone detectors and electronic warfare systems will be installed in the vehicles to enhance the safety of emergency services. Gladkov noted that protecting ambulance personnel has become a priority. He emphasized that their work is critical for saving the lives of the injured and sick.
