Russian military personnel have improved the popular Mavic reconnaissance quadcopter. The soldiers clad the drone in a protective "mangal" mesh, which will help it against aerial UAV attacks.
This casing covers the drone from above and from the sides, preventing the interceptor UAV from striking the most sensitive part of the quadcopter — its rotors.
Testers subjected the prototype to external influences, pushing and even kicking it in flight. The device changed course, but did not fall.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation explained the principle of operation of the UR-77 Meteorite mine clearance vehicle. At the same time, the military began to use it to strike at enemy positions.
