The large anti-submarine ship of the Northern Fleet, "Vice-Admiral Kulakov" of Project 1155, has returned to the Baltic after a short absence.
Initially, the ship's passage through the Danish Straits was recorded, and then it was discovered in Baltiysk.
Large anti-submarine ships of Project 1155 are the basis of the anti-submarine forces of the Russian Navy. They are designed for operations in distant sea and ocean zones, both as part of combat groups and in single voyages.
The ships' armament includes eight vertical launch installations for the "Kinzhal" SAM system, two 100-mm artillery installations, two 12-barrel RBU-6000 rocket launchers, and two 533-mm four-tube torpedo launchers.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the military installed a new 107-mm MLRS on the chassis from the UAZ-3303 "Bukhanka".
