"Mayak-2" is a modernized version of "Mayak-1", which was created on the basis of a sanction-resistant version of KAMAZ-54901.

"KAMAZ" is currently the only Russian manufacturer of highly automated vehicles based on a cargo chassis of its own production.
Sergey Kogogin, General Director of PJSC "KAMAZ"

In 2025, the manufacturer will release an improved version of "Mayak-2.5". The pre-series modification of the "Mayak-3" truck will appear in 1.5-2 years.
