«Нажал кнопку и посадил все беспилотники»: глава АО «ГЛОНАСС» объяснил, зачем контролировать гражданские дроны

Monitoring platform has been tested in 12 regions

JSC «GLONASS» is working on a monitoring platform for civilian drones. It will allow forced landing of civilian drones that have flown into a prohibited zone. At SPIEF, the head of JSC GLONASS, Alexey Raikevich, spoke about the details of this development.

We want to use the existing system to ensure transparency in the field of unmanned systems. There will be identification of the drone flying in the sky and monitoring of its location. Where it flew, whether it flew into prohibited areas.
Alexey Raikevich

According to him, Geoscan and Transport of the Future companies are also involved in creating a drone identification system based on ERA-GLONASS. The created monitoring platform is being tested in 12 regions. He added that hybrid communication technologies for drones are being tested in the Samara region.

Raikevich explained that the drone flight monitoring system will allow the authorities to simultaneously land UAVs that have flown into a prohibited area.

The regulatory authorities will have the opportunity to press a button and land all drones in a certain area.

Earlier, Minister of Transport Roman Starovoit stated that the monitoring system from ERA-GLONASS will allow lifting the ban on flights of civilian drones in the regions.
