KamAZ-52222 electric buses have hit the routes in Moscow, according to the capital's Department of Transport.
12 new generation KamAZ-52222 electric buses have started operating on the line. They run in the northern administrative district of Moscow - to Belorussky railway station and to the Petrovsky Park and CSKA metro stations.
The model was presented in April 2025. The electric bus is equipped with two motors with a total power of 490 hp and a domestic battery with a capacity of 230 kWh. Capacity - 85 people, of which 35 are seated.
According to the department, the cabin has become more spacious, the storage areas are wider, and shelves for hand luggage have appeared in the front. The doors are equipped with light indication of boarding: green backlight - entrance, red - end of boarding.
An updated design and an enhanced climate control system are also noted. By the end of 2025, another 400 such electric buses will arrive in Moscow.
