The Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region granted the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia to recover 100% of the shares of DME Holding LLC (manages the assets of Domodedovo Airport). The court session took place on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
The Prosecutor General's Office filed the lawsuit in January. The airport owners, Dmitry Kamenshchik and Valery Kogan, violated Russian law. They managed the assets of a strategic enterprise and transferred profits abroad.
The court also took interim measures, including access for representatives of Rosaviatsia and FKP "Airports of the North" to the financial and technical documentation of Domodedovo to prevent emergencies and ensure safety. The management bodies of the group were prohibited from making decisions on the payment of dividends and other actions aimed at withdrawing funds.
Initially, the case was considered behind closed doors due to the presence of information about the airport's anti-terrorism security system and capital withdrawal schemes. Representatives of Domodedovo insisted on an open hearing of the case.
Domodedovo Airport is one of the largest in Russia. It serves many airlines, including S7 and Ural Airlines. In 2024, the airport's passenger traffic decreased by 23% to 15.6 million people, and in the first four months of 2025, the decrease was 9%, to 4.2 million people.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Aeroflot transferred flights to the UAE to wide-body aircraft.
