The Russian government has amended the procedure for purchasing cars for state and municipal needs, emphasizing environmentally friendly modes of transport. According to the new rules, priority is given to electric vehicles and cars running on natural gas, while traditional gasoline and diesel cars can only be purchased in the absence of alternatives.
This decision aims to reduce harmful emissions and support domestic manufacturers of "green" transport. In particular, Russian companies such as KamAZ and AvtoVAZ are already developing lines of electric vehicles and gas models.
