Бюджетный комплекс «Дронобой» для борьбы с БПЛА создали в России: cоздает детонацию взрывчатого вещества на беспилотниках

The device is capable of staying in the air for two to three hours

An innovative "Dronoboy" complex for combating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been patented in Russia. The novelty was developed by a lone inventor with the support of the project office of the National Technology Initiative (NTI).

The novelty consists of a carrier drone and a combat module that creates a directed detonation of a high explosive capable of initiating an explosion on enemy drones. The module functions as a kind of "energy strike", destroying the target with a powerful directed flow of explosion products.

Thanks to amplifiers, the drone is able to stay in the air for two to three hours. In fact, the combat module is multi-purpose and reusable, the drone can be on the battlefield in patrol mode, in target waiting mode.
Vladimir Gorbashov, author of the project

The module design uses two rotors with a system capable of collecting inertia and heating the air. This reduces drag and increases flight range and efficiency.

The modernization of the blades has already been patented in Rospatent, a drone with this technology can be used for both civil and military aviation, that is, wherever bladed engines are used. Officially, it is called "torque amplifier on the shaft of a bladed aircraft engine."
Vladimir Gorbashov, author of the project

Gorbashov noted that "Dronoboy" is easy and inexpensive to manufacture due to the simplicity of the device and the use of available materials. The drone's body is made of duralumin, which makes it light and durable.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that a unique mesh coating for combating UAVs was created at PSU.
