Мошенники активизировали атаку на подростков в праздничные дни

Fraudsters are trying to extract information about parents from minors to access their accounts on "Gosuslugi"

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia warns of a growing threat of telephone fraud targeting teenagers. The agency reports that during the holidays, there has been an increase in cases where fraudsters are trying to gain access to parents' accounts through their children.

Scammers use various tricks, posing as assistants in restoring hacked accounts on the "Gosuslugi" state portal. The attackers request personal data of parents from minors, such as full name, income level and information about property.

Fraud can lead not only to leakage of personal data, but also to financial losses associated with theft of money from bank cards. Teenagers may also face psychological pressure and blackmail from attackers.

In this regard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs strongly recommends that parents talk to their children about Internet safety and not leave them unattended during telephone conversations with strangers.
