Recently, scammers have begun to actively use the "Gosuslugi" portal to post fake documents. Hacked users may believe that they are financing terrorist organizations and become victims of scammers, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
According to Denis Kostin, Deputy Head of the Department for Combating Property Crimes in the Field of Computer Information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, there is a possibility of attaching documents on the "Gosuslugi" portal.
Scammers use this opportunity. They draw in some programs allegedly some non-existent power of attorney, just create fake documents that allegedly you entrusted all your money to be transported somewhere there in favor of terrorists and attach it, having previously gained access from you.
The expert explained that after logging into the portal, users may see a fake document, which causes them to panic. He stressed that you need to be careful and not give in to provocations. If you have a suspicious document, it is best to contact law enforcement agencies.
