New technological solutions cannot be prepared, as they say, "in a drawer" — we also know this well and have talked about it many times. They should find wide application and be replicated in all areas.
Putin noted that it is important that new technologies contribute to the growth of the competitiveness of Russian goods and services, the strengthening of the country's economy as a whole, and the improvement of the quality of life of citizens.
The head of state instructed members of the Cabinet of Ministers to personally monitor the implementation of new technologies in their respective areas.
I ask all colleagues in the government to keep the issue of implementing new technologies in their areas of responsibility under personal control.
He emphasized that the main goal is to flexibly adjust regulators, focusing on experiments, testing, and the introduction of promising technologies.
Earlier, the Russian government created a Center for the Development of Artificial Intelligence. This is a kind of project office that will coordinate the implementation of technology in key industries. The center will systematize best practices, support developers, and develop computing power.
