Crews of Terminator tank support fighting vehicles (BMPT) most often use 30 mm automatic cannons. This was reported as the most sought-after weapon of the "Terminator."
According to him, the paired 30-mm cannon is suitable against enemy infantry and lightly armored vehicles. It also helps to work against tanks - to "extinguish" the external sighting devices of combat vehicles.
The cannon allows you to stop and "blind" the tank by hitting the observation and sighting devices. After that, it can be destroyed with an anti-tank missile.
The BMPT based on the T-90A tank is equipped with an unmanned turret with two 30 mm 2A42 automatic cannons, Ataka anti-tank guided missiles and a machine gun. The vehicle also received two automatic grenade launchers.
