Russia to deploy over 100 satellites in space to control drones

Spacecraft will be launched as part of a national project

Russia will deploy 102 satellites in Earth's orbit to control unmanned aerial vehicles. This was announced by the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Bakanov.

In the "Communication and Earth Observation" section, among the key activities to be carried out as part of the national project, the creation of a low-orbit constellation by launching 886 spacecraft is planned.

The head of Roscosmos also noted that the accuracy of the GLONASS navigation system can be brought to tens of centimeters by 2030-2031 with the help of satellites from the company "Bureau 1440."

Earlier www1.ru reported that the manufacturer of advanced missiles for Su-57 fighters will expand production.
