Aeroflot has established a new company. It is about building a large plant for the repair of aircraft engines. This was announced by the head of Aeroflot, Sergey Alexandrovsky.
This is about 27 thousand square meters. When it reaches its full design capacity, it is expected to carry out up to 70 overhauls of engines of various modifications per year.
According to Sergey Alexandrovsky, we are talking about domestic PD-14 and PD-8 engines, as well as the French-American CFM engine.
