Turbojet Engine Manufacturer to Register Three Trademarks in Russia

No problems should arise with registration at Rospatent

LLC "Research and Production Center "Blades. Compressors. Turbines" has filed applications with Rospatent for the registration of three trademarks. This information was published on May 23. The first application includes the inscription "In one breath with the engine", and the second and third include the RPC "BCT" logo in various color schemes.

The list of goods and services that the company wants to protect with an exclusive right includes shafts for engines, transmission shafts, various engine mechanisms, turbines, bearings, and pistons. The list also includes aircraft, airplanes, amphibious aircraft, repair services, engineering, and testing.

The application lists Roman Gorobey as the address for correspondence. He was previously the founder and participant of several companies that ceased operations in 2018 and 2023.

Currently, Gorobey is the sole participant in LLC "Virtus", which is engaged in the production of electronics, and also the general director of JSC "Oscar-Avia Group". This enterprise was the sole participant of RPC "BCT" from April 15, 2011, to June 21, 2012. The applicant declined to comment on the situation.

On the one hand, the situation can be explained by distrust of the patent attorney and the desire of Roman Dmitrievich Gorobey to personally control the paperwork for the application. On the other hand, the company (applicant) risks not receiving important correspondence from Rospatent.

The expression "In one breath" is already used in other trademarks. However, there should be no problems with the registration of the trademark.

RPC "BCT" was registered in 2002 in St. Petersburg, its founders are JSC "Research and Production Center "Saturn" and Victoria Ivashkina. The company's main activity is the production of turbojet and turboprop engines and their parts. In 2021, the company's revenue amounted to 1.4 billion rubles, and profit - 383 million rubles.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that "NPO Mashinostroyenia" patented a new aircraft-type UAV.
