The aviation onboard multifunctional intelligent information display system "Horizon-25" has been successfully tested on the Yak-52B2 drone fighter prototype developed by OKB Aviastroitel.
The innovative system solves two key tasks. It provides the use of modern technologies for the formation of flight information on light aircraft. This increases flight safety in simple and difficult weather conditions, as well as in the absence of visual contact with the earth's surface. "Horizon-25" also allows conducting flight experiments of complex technical systems, which significantly reduces their cost.
The system includes an onboard high-performance computer, a system for measuring the parameters of the aircraft's movement, and a multifunctional touch screen.
Installation of the "Horizon-25" system on the Yak-52B2 allows:
- Receive information from the onboard radar about the position of the drone and create an indication for its interception.
- Transmit images with aiming information.
- Display information for using the aircraft in any visibility.
