Пилотный проект по ограничению доступа к фишинговым сайтам стартует в России

Authorities want to create an effective mechanism for identifying and blocking fake online resources

In Russia, a pilot project will begin on June 4, 2025, aimed at restricting access to phishing sites and applications that masquerade as official resources of government agencies and companies. The experiment will last until March 1, 2026, and will focus on creating an effective mechanism for identifying and blocking fake online resources that may use domain names similar to the real ones.

Key government bodies will participate in the project, including the Ministry of Digital Development, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSB, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Finance, the Federal Tax Service, Rospatent, the Bank of Russia, and the Prosecutor General's Office. The main goal of the initiative is to protect citizens from fraudsters who use fake sites to steal passwords and other personal information.

The project will help improve online security and reduce risks for users.
