The Moscow Arbitration Court on Friday, May 30, partially satisfied the claim of the Russian Ministry of Defense against Tupolev JSC for the amount of 3 billion rubles. The exact amount of the recovery is not disclosed; the meeting was held behind closed doors.
The department's requirements concerned economic disputes in civil legal relations. The lawsuit was filed with the court back in January 2025; initially, the amount of the claims was 360 million rubles, but later increased to 3 billion.
According to data from open sources, the lawsuit may be related to delays in the maintenance of supplied military equipment.
Tupolev is the parent enterprise of the strategic and special aviation division of the United Aircraft Corporation, the manufacturer of Tu-160 strategic missile carriers.
