Belarus can help Russia with the production of component base when working together on the latest light single-engine fifth-generation Su-75 Checkmate fighter. This was stated by Major General of the Reserve, analyst at the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies Igor Korol.
According to him, Belarus already has some experience in cooperation in the field of aircraft construction. For example, Belarusian enterprises produce components for the Su-30SM aircraft.
There is a large niche for Belarusian defense industry enterprises in the production of the latest Su-75 Checkmate aircraft. First of all, this is probably the production of a component base: electronics, guidance systems, optics, screens, panels that are directly involved in the cockpit, various boxes of units that are now saturated with any aviation equipment.
Korol noted that the Belarusian enterprises "Peleng" and "Integral" already produce a number of components that are used in combat aviation produced by Russia.
In addition, as in the case of the Su-30SM, it is possible to assemble individual units at the enterprises of the republic, repair and maintain new aircraft at the 558th Aviation Repair Plant in Baranovichi.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the manufacturer of MS-21 and SJ-100 suffered a net loss of 24.1 billion rubles last year.
