Range of "Oreshnik" in Belarus Revealed: Will Reach Northeastern USA and Canada

Also within reach are key NATO military facilities in Western Europe

After the deployment of mobile ground-based medium-range ballistic missile systems (MRBM) "Oreshnik", the range of two-stage missiles with 10-Mach combat blocks will significantly increase. This was stated by military expert Evgeny Damantsev.

According to him, key NATO military facilities in Western Europe, the Arctic region, Greenland (where the Pentagon plans to form the Dark Eagle missile defense position area), as well as in eastern Canada and northeastern regions of the United States, will be within range.

The "Oreshnik" missile system is planned to be deployed in Belarus by the end of this year, and locations for its deployment have already been determined, said State Secretary of the Security Council of the country Alexander Volfovich the other day.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated on March 14 that by the end of 2025 the republic will be ready to deploy two "Oreshnik" installations on its territory.

"Oreshnik" combat blocks attack targets at speeds up to 10 Mach or about 3 km/s. The range of the missile is up to 5,500 km.
