The "Oreshnik" missile system is planned to be deployed in Belarus by the end of this year, and locations for its deployment have already been determined. This was stated by the State Secretary of the Security Council of the country, Alexander Volfovich.
He also clarified that the issue of deploying a medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) will move into the "practical sphere" by the end of this year.
The work is underway. Statements by a number of officials and other leaders that this is a bluff, that none of this exists... Let them comfort themselves with hope.
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, stated on March 14 that by the end of 2025, the republic would be ready to deploy two "Oreshnik" launchers on its territory.
Military expert Evgeny Damantsev added that after the deployment of "Oreshnik" on the territory of Belarus, the range of the two-stage MRBMs with 10-Mach warheads will cover key NATO military facilities in Western Europe, the Arctic region, Greenland, as well as in eastern Canada and northeastern regions of the United States.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russia handed over a batch of the latest Su-30SM2 fighters to Belarus.
