Perm Polytechnic is working on creating a unique SmartPaws application. The development will unite smart devices for pet care into a single system.
The application allows you to combine video cameras, automatic drinkers, feeders, GPS collars, trainers and other accessories for animals into a single network that connects via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Zigbee wireless communication protocols. The system makes it possible to configure scenarios for their joint work, so that, being far from home, the user can interact with his pet and be calm about his condition.
SmartPaws will offer users a wide range of functionality. An electronic diary will be available in the application to store information about the pet's health, a blog with expert recommendations and a catalog of goods and services. Users will be able to choose smart devices, food or veterinary services directly in the application. The built-in cashback system will help save money, returning up to 3% from each purchase.
The system will allow you to configure scenarios for the joint operation of gadgets - turn on music or the owner's voice if the pet is sad, or automatically serve food on a schedule. The application will be combined with iOS and Android, and its basic functionality will be available for free.
Paid tariffs will be provided for advanced features. Currently, specialists are finalizing the prototype and preparing to enter the Russian market.
