The multi-purpose first-rank frigate "Marshal Shaposhnikov" (project 1155M) of the Pacific Fleet repelled an attack by drones and unmanned boats (BEC) at a training ground in the Sea of Japan. This was reported in the press service of the fleet.

During tactical exercises, the frigate's crew hit surface and sea drones from the 30-mm shipborne automatic artillery gun AK-630M and 12.7-mm large-caliber machine guns. The sailors practiced throwing hand grenades, firing from an underwater pistol and an underwater machine gun from the board at a floating object.

After that, the frigate suppressed a coastal target from the 100-mm artillery gun AK-190M. The press service of the fleet noted the high level of readiness of the military personnel.
