A ship search and strike group consisting of large anti-submarine ships «Severomorsk» and «Vice-Admiral Kulakov» (Project 1115) of the Northern Fleet entered the Barents Sea to practice anti-submarine tasks, the fleet's press service reported.
Minesweepers «Kolomna» and «Kotelnich» of the Kola Flotilla of mixed forces are also participating in the exercises. The crews will search for submarines in the Barents Sea. Submarines of the Northern Fleet will act as a mock enemy. The sailors will also use anti-submarine weapons systems.
