Первый в России официальный «Пушистый» дронопорт открылся на Сахалине

The airfield has been granted the status of a specialized site for unmanned aerial vehicles

In the Korsakovsky district of Sakhalin, the "Fluffy" airfield has become Russia's first official droneport – a specialized site for the takeoff and landing of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This status was granted by Rosaviatsiya, which opens up new opportunities for the development of unmanned aviation in the country.

"Fluffy" is not just a runway, but a full-fledged air hub equipped with modern navigation and control systems. It includes:

  • Zones for testing drones of various types (cargo, passenger, monitoring).
  • Flight control center, ensuring safe interaction with manned aviation.
  • Logistics hubs for delivering goods to remote areas.

According to the Governor of the Sakhalin Region, Valery Limarenko, the region became the first in Russia where joint flights of manned and unmanned aircraft are allowed. This was made possible through cooperation with "Aurora – unmanned aircraft systems" and the Air Navigation Support Center.

Today, our region is the only one in Russia where flights of unmanned and manned aircraft are allowed in the same airspace. And in Russia's first droneport "Fluffy", all conditions have been created for the operation of drones of various types and testing advanced solutions in the field of unmanned systems.
Press service of the head of the region

From September 6 to 8, the international forum "Wings of Sakhalin" will be held at the droneport, where the latest developments in the field of UAVs will be presented. Participants from Russia and the BRICS countries will discuss the integration of drones into transport systems and their application in logistics, agriculture and monitoring.

The opening of "Fluffy" is an important step in the development of unmanned aviation in Russia. This project can become a model for other regions planning to implement similar solutions. In the coming years, similar droneports may appear in the Arctic, Siberia and the Far East, which will increase the efficiency of logistics in remote areas.
