A new fraud scheme has emerged in Russia. Scammers have begun hacking personal accounts on the "Gosuslugi" portal on behalf of mobile operators, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow said.
Scammers try in every possible way to get information from you containing passport data, passwords from personal accounts, SMS codes.
A representative of the department explained that criminals offer the victim by phone to extend the contract for the provision of services or change the tariff. To do this, they ask you to log in through "Gosuslugi" and report the code to enter your account.
