The technical equipment of the latest Su-35S «4++» generation combat aircraft, which have entered service with the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS), has become known. This delivery of Su-35S is the second in 2025. Previously, on March 29, the first batch entered the VKS.
The exact number of fighters transferred is not disclosed, as the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has not published such information since 2022.
The latest Su-35S fighters are equipped with AL-41F1S engines (with thrust vector control, an «Irbis» airborne radar station with a phased array antenna, and modern weapon control systems.
Thanks to its high maneuverability and payload of up to 8 tons, the Su-35S is considered one of the most effective fighters in its class.
