Новейший перехватчик дронов разработали в России при помощи «Компас-3D»

The device was manufactured using 3D printing and woodworking

A student at St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation has developed a drone to intercept small or medium-sized drones.

Its advantage over competitors lies in its economical manufacturing and low vulnerability. During a maneuver, the device can lie completely on its wing, which enhances aerodynamics and makes the device less vulnerable.

The UAV was designed in the domestic computer-aided design system "Kompas-3D". Mixed technologies were used in the manufacturing process, including woodworking and 3D printing, which makes the drone production economical.

Earlier www1.ru reported that carriers of "Onyx" and "Caliber" frigates "Admiral Gorshkov" and "Admiral Kasatonov" hit targets in the Barents Sea.
