A batch of special armored Ladoga vehicles has been handed over to the Russian military. The vehicles have a 4x4 wheel arrangement, and the armored hull is made voluminous, with three doors, which, like the windows, are equipped with protected glass.

Ladoga was developed by the AVD company from St. Petersburg. The vehicle is designed to transport personnel and various cargo over rough terrain and public roads for use as an operational and service vehicle and a means of transportation.

Protection class — BR4 (STANAG 2), capacity — up to 13 people, range on two tanks — up to 1000 km, vehicle weight — 7 tons.

The armored hood covers the engine compartment, which houses a multi-fuel diesel engine YaMZ-5347 with a capacity of 215 hp.
