The "Uralvagonzavod" concern (part of the Rostec State Corporation) has delivered a fresh batch of seven main battle tanks T-90M "Breakthrough" of the 2024 model to the combat units of the Armed Forces.
The vehicles are equipped with additional anti-cumulative "earflaps", providing protection for the turret race sector, as well as the aft armor plate of the turret with proper spacing.
The upper projection of the vehicle's turret is covered with rubber horseshoe-shaped deformed segments based on a conveyor belt, forming an anti-cumulative "visor".
These segments also form a light ballistic anti-fragmentation protection for the antenna modules of the multi-band electronic warfare complex.
