Russian reconnaissance and strike complexes ZALA «Lancet» have learned to effectively track and destroy American counter-battery radar stations (radars) AN/TPQ.
The destruction of these radars facilitates the task for our artillerymen. For example, the most numerous in the Special Military Operation, the AN/TPQ-36, can simultaneously track up to 10, and monitor up to 99 weapons. The maximum detection range of artillery is 18 km, and missiles – up to 24 km.
Operators of the BAS Z-16 reconnaissance and strike complex ZALA «Lancet» have learned to recognize them in the thermal and visual channels of the UAVs. Barrage ammunition of the «Lancet» family is used to strike the detected targets.
The Zala company added that thanks to the sniper work of the ZALA «Lancet» complex crews, at least 19 American AN/TPQ-36 radars were destroyed.
