The Ministry of Defense demanded to recover almost a million rubles from "Voentorg" in a new lawsuit

Since the beginning of the year, the ministry has filed 10 lawsuits against the company for 2.6 million rubles

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation filed a new lawsuit with the Arbitration Court of Moscow against JSC "Voentorg" demanding to recover almost 914 thousand rubles from the company. According to the document, the application was registered on April 28.

Since the beginning of 2025, the ministry has filed ten lawsuits against "Voentorg" for a total amount of almost 2.6 million rubles. It is specified that some of them have already been satisfied.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs in August 2024 initiated a criminal case under the article "Fraud" on the theft of funds on a particularly large scale in the execution of state contracts for the needs of the Ministry of Defense.

As part of the case, law enforcement officers detained the head of "Voentorg" Vladimir Pavlov and the "beneficiary of controlled organizations." He is accused of stealing 400 million rubles. Together with Pavlov, the former General Director of "Voentorg-Retail" Timur Isakov was arrested.
