Sea Trials of the Tugboat "Leonid Mekhed" Completed

Ice-class vessel is designed for mooring and emergency rescue operations

The tugboat "Leonid Mekhed" moored in Zolotoy Rog Bay after completing sea trials. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS).

The tugboat "Leonid Mekhed" has been accepted into the Class of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

The ice-class vessel will perform mooring and emergency rescue operations in the Vladivostok Marine Fishing Port (Vladmorrybport).

The technical characteristics of the new vessel provide high power, as well as improved maneuverability and safety during mooring operations.

Main characteristics of the tugboat "Leonid Mekhed": length — 32 m, width — 12 m, board height — 5.35 m, deadweight — 275.23 t, speed — 12 knots.
