At the rehearsal of the military parade in honor of May 9 in Bishkek, the S-300PS and Tor-M2KM anti-aircraft missile systems received by the Kyrgyz armed forces from Russia, as well as the modernized S-125-2BM SAM systems received from Belarus, were shown for the first time.
The S-300PS SAM system is a medium-range anti-aircraft missile system designed to destroy aerial targets at a range of up to 300 km, flying at speeds of up to 1,200 meters per second. The complex is capable of simultaneously engaging six targets, guiding two missiles at each.
The Tor-M2KM is an autonomous short-range anti-aircraft missile system that provides the destruction of maneuvering long- and medium-range cruise missiles, anti-radar missiles, gliding and guided aerial bombs, unmanned aerial vehicles, enemy aircraft and helicopters flying at altitudes from 10 to 10,000 m above sea level, at a range of 1,000 to 15,000 m.
