The Kalashnikov Group has published footage of the first flight of the newest strike weapon in the KUB line of guided munitions, the KUB-10E.
The video shows the KUB-10E being launched into the air from a catapult. The new product can be used to strike command posts, unarmored military equipment, field storage points for fuel and ammunition, aircraft at airfields, and UAV launch complexes.
The loitering munition is guided to the target using specified coordinates and data from navigation satellite systems. The drone's flight altitude is from 100 to 2500 m, and its speed is up to 100 km/h.
The flight range and combat power of the new guided munition significantly exceed those of previous models in the line.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Kalashnikov has increased the pace of machine tool production: on the path to industrial independence.
