Rosatom's Largest Uranium Mining Enterprise in the World to Receive New Diamond Cutting Tool

The equipment will be supplied by the "Terekalmaz" plant

The "Terekalmaz" diamond tool plant has started producing diamond cutting tools for one of the world's largest uranium mining enterprises, the Priargunsky Industrial Mining and Chemical Association (PIMCU, part of Rosatom). This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.

"Terekalmaz" has been producing tools for mechanical engineering, geological exploration drilling, and the construction industry since 1961, including diamond drills, milling cutters, band saws, and segmented wheels.

PIMCU specialists mine uranium by underground method at the uranium and molybdenum-uranium deposits of the Streltsovsky ore field. The Mining and Chemical Association ranks 1st in Russia in uranium mining.
