The 71-411 carriages are designed for narrow-gauge tracks

The Uraltransmash plant will supply 4 high-speed trams, each accommodating over 170 people, to Pyatigorsk by the end of June 2025. This was reported by Rostec's press service.

The single-section low-floor carriages of model 71-411 are equipped with air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, and video surveillance systems.

The trams will travel at speeds up to 75 km/h. The developers have also provided for the possibility of satellite navigation.

Track gauge is the distance between the inner edges of the rail heads. The regulatory documents of the Ministry of Construction stipulate a standard gauge for Russia of 1524 mm ("Russian gauge"), while other types exist: "European gauge" - 1435 mm and "Narrow gauge" - 1000 mm.
