KamAZ has created the first medium-duty truck of the new K5 generation - model 53251. This two-axle vehicle with a payload capacity of 12 tons is designed to replace the KamAZ-5325 with the K4 cab and is intended for use in public utilities and retail.
The new product is equipped with a modern cab, providing increased comfort and safety for the driver. The truck is equipped with a 307 hp diesel engine and a 9-speed manual transmission.
The total weight of the vehicle reaches 19 tons, and the extended frame allows the installation of various superstructures (crane-manipulators, refrigerators and tow trucks).
The model consists of 80% domestic components. The first sample was assembled in the rhythm of the assembly line. This confirms KamAZ's readiness for mass production of the new truck.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that KamAZplans to bring modern K5 trucks to the Vietnamese market.
