The new version of the Lada Niva Sport with an enhanced engine and upgraded chassis is not yet available to most buyers. Despite the official start of sales, there is no information about the model's availability on the manufacturer's website, and dealerships have not yet received batches for sale.
According to representatives of the car dealership in Togliatti, those wishing to purchase a car need to sign up for a queue — cars will be issued according to the serial number. Sources attribute the shortage not to high demand, but to a limited number of copies produced. At the same time, the production of the model began in December 2024.
Technical features of the SUV include a 1.6-liter engine with 122 hp, borrowed from the sports version of the sedan, as well as an updated transmission with simplified transfer case control. The model is equipped with disc brakes on all wheels and a modified suspension, which increases cross-country ability and stability on off-road conditions. The cost of the new product is 1.7 million rubles.
