Russian media reported the launch of production of the Lada Niva Sport in a special Silk Way version. It turned out that the information does not correspond to reality.
According to a source familiar with the situation, LADA Sport is indeed preparing to release several copies of a powerful version of the SUV based on Lada Niva Legend, but they are intended exclusively for advertising purposes.
It is expected that the Lada Niva Sport Silk Way will be equipped with a 144 hp engine. The car will also receive a unique decor. According to the manufacturer's idea, the model will become more niche compared to the regular Niva Sport.
As a reminder, that Lada Niva Sport with a 122 horsepower engine will begin production on April 6. The car will have a slightly redesigned interior compared to the regular «Niva».
