Rocket "Buyan" and "Gepard" of the Caspian Flotilla opened fire from АК-177 artillery and "Оsa-МА-2" anti-aircraft guns

Six warships of projects 21631 and 11661К took part in the exercises

Small missile ships "Uglich", "Veliky Ustyug", "Grad Sviyazhsk", "Tucha", "Amur" of project 21631 code "Buyan-M" and the missile ship "Tatarstan" of project 11661К code "Gepard" of the Caspian Flotilla, as part of a planned exercise, performed artillery and anti-aircraft firing at aerial and sea targets. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

In the sea ranges, the ships, as part of tactical groups, carried out firing from shipborne 76.2-mm artillery mounts АК-176 at a sea shield simulating a surface ship of a mock enemy.

During the exercise to repel an attack by air attack weapons of a mock enemy, the ship crews used 30-mm automatic artillery mounts АК-630, as well as the "Оsa-МА-2" anti-aircraft missile system of the missile ship "Tatarstan".
