At the Ural Locomotives plant in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, the installation of the first metal frame structure of the body for commissioning electric trains has been completed. Simultaneously with the construction, a new production complex is being designed.
At the same time, supplier companies have begun manufacturing prototypes of components for the high-speed train. In general, the project is progressing in accordance with the approved schedule.
The new facility will include a complex for the production of high-speed trains, a body for the formation of body components, a traction drive test center, a design and administrative center.
The installation of temporary railway tracks, bored piles of the main frame and power floor has been fully completed at the site. The installation of sub-concrete under the foundations, pile caps, plinth beams is coming to an end, 125 columns out of 139 have been installed, over 3 thousand cubic meters of concrete have been poured. Engineering preparation and excavation of local soil are nearing completion.
The new production complex will allow to carry out:
- Combining wagons into a train with connection of communications.
- Simulating the operation of a locomotive in real conditions.
- High-voltage and low-voltage tests.
- Checking the tightness of inter-car passages.
- Monitoring the operation of water supply and sewerage systems of wagons.
