"Piltun" Will Save Everyone: Multifunctional Rescue Vessel Participated in EMERCOM Exercises

Ahead of the Arctic Forum, rescuers practiced extinguishing a fire on board a vessel

The "Piltun" rescue vessel of the Marine Rescue Service took part in demonstration exercises of the Ministry of Emergency Situations ahead of the VI International Arctic Forum "Arctic - Territory of Dialogue" in Murmansk.

During the exercises, specialists successfully extinguished a fire that occurred on board a vessel in the port water area.

"Piltun" is a multifunctional emergency rescue vessel of the MPSV12 project, built at the Nevsky Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant of USC. It is designed to eliminate emergency situations, extinguish fires on ships and platforms, as well as conduct rescue operations.
