The tug and rescue vessel "Uzon" (project NE025), which is being built by the shipbuilders of the Oka Shipyard for the Marine Rescue Service, has entered the waters of Avacha Bay. This was reported by the press service of the shipbuilding enterprise.
The Pacific Ocean, with its harsh disposition, has become an ideal testing ground. This water area is characterized by storms, icy winds and difficult navigation - exactly the conditions in which the "Uzon" tug will have to work.
The shipbuilders checked the towing and anchor devices, the main power plant and its mechanisms, auxiliary diesel generators, and radio navigation equipment. After the tests, "Uzon" will be handed over to the customer.
