In the period from March 17 to March 23, 2025, 343 new Solaris cars were sold in Russia. This allowed the brand to re-enter the top ten leaders in the Russian market, and for the third week in a row.
The Russian Lada still leads the ranking of brands, with sales of 5,804 cars last week.
The top five also included Chinese Haval (2,439 cars), Chery (2,027 cars), Geely (1,204 cars) and Changan (865 cars).
In the ranking of new passenger car sales, the Belgee brand was in sixth place with a result of 605 units. It is followed by Jetour and OMODA with results of 484 and 436 units, respectively.
The JAECOO brand is in ninth position with a result of 351 units. And the top ten is closed by the aforementioned Solaris with a result of 343 units.
In total, just over 18,800 new passenger cars were sold in our country in the 12th week. According to experts from the Avtostat agency, this is 8% more than a week earlier, but 46.5% less than in the same period last year.
Earlier, AvtoVAZ announced the start of mass production of cars equipped with a six-speed manual transmission. The first model to receive the updated unit was the Lada Vesta.
