Il-38 anti-submarine aircraft of naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet practiced piloting tasks over the Sea of Japan in the event of emergency situations. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
As part of the flight assignment, the crews were tested on the technique of piloting aircraft using their maximum operational capabilities.
During the flight, the pilots practiced Il-38 control skills at a maximum altitude of 8000 km, after which they performed training tasks for emergency descent, failure of one and two engines, and failure of piloting navigation equipment.
According to the training input, the crews in the air turned off and started the engine, and also practiced landing using redundant systems.
